Dasara Movie 2023 Plot:
The film "Dasara" is centered around the village of Veerlapalle located in Godhavarikhani. The plot follows the story of Dharani (played by Nani) and his friend Soori (played by Dheekshith Shetty), who are both alcoholics. Vennela (played by Keerthy Suresh) is a common friend of Dharani and Soori since childhood. Chinna Nambi (played by Shine Tom Chacko), the son of Shivanna (played by Samuthirakani), becomes the Sarpanch and manages the Silk Bar. Rajanna (played by Sai Kumar) helps Soori and his friends in a case, and they choose him as their Sarpanch. Afterward, on the night of Soori's wedding with Vennela, someone kills him. The movie follows the characters as they attempt to unravel the mystery behind Soori's murder, and it also explores the future of Vennela. The movie's narrative ties up all the loose ends and answers the audience's questions.

Dharani and
Soori have been the closest of friends since they were kids. Unfortunately, both
have fallen for the same girl, Vennela. However, Dharani decides to keep his
feelings for Vennela to himself and instead chooses to sacrifice his love for
the sake of his friend.
On the other
hand, Vennela reciprocates Soori's love, and they have been in a relationship
since childhood. However, to marry Vennela, Soori has to prove his worth by
winning the cashier post at the local bar. This is a difficult task as it
involves battling against politics of caste and status, with many influential
people involved.
After
Dharani and his team win a cricket tournament, they manage to secure the
cashier post for Soori, which paves the way for his marriage with Vennela.
However, tragedy strikes a few hours later when Soori is killed in a fight,
leaving everyone devastated.
Why Dasara
movie 2023 worthy to watch?
Nani, known
for his boy-next-door roles, takes on a challenging role as Dharani in Dasara
and delivers an exemplary performance. He carefully portrays the character's
attire, body language, and dialogue delivery, impressing viewers with his
emotional scenes.
Keerthy
Suresh, a National Award-winning actress, shines in a meaty role as Vennela.
Her performance and dialogue delivery feel natural, making it her best film in
Tollywood since Mahanati. Dheekshith Shetty's natural acting skills shine in
his role, potentially opening doors for more opportunities in the Telugu film
industry.
Malayalam
actor Shine Tom Chacko delivers an impressive performance in his good role,
while Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, and Purnaa do well in their respective roles.
Director Srikanth Odela makes a strong debut with Dasara, showcasing his
directing skills more than his writing. His potential has garnered attention
from prominent production companies, with offers likely to come his way.
The action
sequences and dialogues in the film are terrific, with credit due to the
talented crew behind them. Nani's rugged appearance and acting in the action
scenes are praiseworthy, and the interval and climax scenes are worth watching.
Why Dasara
2023 is not worthy?
As
previously mentioned, Srikanth Odela excels as a director, but falls short in
his ability to choose a compelling story as a writer. The screenplay is
well-paced in the first half, but in the latter half, it becomes slow and
tedious, failing to captivate the audience.
Apart from
the climax, there is little to excite or surprise the audience, and the story
becomes highly predictable. This is a significant flaw in the movie. However,
Nani delivers an excellent performance, saving the film to some extent. If the
second half had been as engaging as the first, Dasara would have been a
fantastic film.
Throughout
the movie, the tone remains serious, without any moments of humour. Injecting
some funny scenes between the friends in the first half would have been
beneficial, and Srikanth Odela missed an opportunity in this regard.
The
placement of the popular track "Chamkeela Angeelesi" is a letdown,
and some of the dialogues are inaudible.

I would say
excellent taking by Director Srikanth. The man "Nani" is man of
acting, at climax shot he looks terrific. Even the introduction looks good.
Villain character has designed quite strong enough to the story. Some shots of
Keerthi Suresh was taken excellently. Finally a Movie like this from Nani
proves once again his capability of acting.

Nani is back
with tremendous action.
From the
first frame until the end, Nani stays in character and breathes it. He’s lucky
it has a perfect mixture of action, comedy, and drama. He nails them all
perfectly. The action blocks, whenever they appear, are done with superb
intensity. Background music 👌👌👌. All are fit in their roles. Block
buster movie

Never
thought that nani will in this way we know for emergencies of Nani, he kills
with his performance and keerti was beautiful thing in Dasara, keerti matches
nani performances direction bgm songs and actors are pluss for Dasara negatives
for this movie is. Only for few mins felt little bit slow narration for few
scenes and srikanth did great job never thought that a debut director could
give this much good result movie is blockbuster.
